CyanogenMod Galaxy Ace | CM 7.2 Official Install

CyanogenMod 7.2 Stable Version has been released and I have been using it since day one of it’s Release.

I would Recommend all the users of Galaxy Ace to update their phone to CM7.2 Stable as soon as possible.

Pre-requites you need to follow are

• Take a Full Back up of your Device
• Make Sure you have Gingerbread or CyanogenMod (previous version)  installed on your Galaxy Ace
• Charge your Ace to 100% and Keep the Charger Connected During this whole Procedure
• Visit this post on Rooting and Installing CWM on galaxy Ace

Remember, this post is About how to Install Cyanogenmod Galaxy Ace S5830. Do check your Galaxy Ace Specifications before proceeding.

If you have checked all the Necessary things for your Galaxy ace, then you are ready to Install CyanogenMod Galaxy ace.

Steps to be Followed:-

1. Rooting your Android
2. Installing ClockworkMOD Recovery
3. Installing CyanogenMod Galaxy Ace CM7 Gingerbread

As I assume you have already Rooted your Phone and Installed CWM, I will jump to step 3.

Installing Cyanogenmod 7.2 Stable version for Samsung Galaxy Ace GT S5830

1. Download CyanogenMod 7.2.0 cooper stable  for Galaxy Ace Gingerbread from here CyanogenMod 7.2
2. Place this .zip file in your sd card. You may also store it in a folder.
3. Boot to recovery mode.
4. Apply update using zip file from sd card.
5. select the downloadedcm-7.2.0-cooper.zip file and apply the update
6. Wait patiently until it installs
7. Once Installed message is displayed. Reboot your phone.
8. Wait patiently again! First rebooting of CyanogenMod may take a While.( mine took five mins )
9. Celebrate! you have CyanogeMod Galaxy Ace CM7.2 installed on your galaxy ace

Remember, you may Find CyanogenMod galaxy Ace CM9 on some Websites, but that Mod is still under Development and it’s a leaked MOD, wherelse, Cyanogenmod Galaxy Ace CM7 .2 is official Stable MOD release.So, Do not Install CM9 until it is Launched Officially or unofficially.
