android wallpaper5 1440x900 Top Free Must Have Android Apps

I was today finding an App on Android Market for my Ace.I suddenly got that there are so many Apps For the same Function that it is confusing…which one to prefer.

So I Prepared a List of Apps that makes most of Android. They are not in any order,They are a must have Apps.

 Juice Defender:

This is one app that will surely surprise you. It surprised me and changed my view towards my nexus s and galaxy ace. This App shows out the real battery backup of your android.

The App prevents non-productive and un-useful apps from running and consuming battery of your Android. It even is smart enough to decide which one really is un-useful now, but useful at some other time. You can choose different in-built modes like normal, aggressive, etc according to your need.

This App is free, but if you can shell few bugs, then this is worth it.the full version is also Cool.

Password Manager:
Living your life Online is getting difficult because of all special and interesting products and websites coming up everyday. But each wants you to sign up with them, and select a username and password to access your account.Android Comes to Rescue here.

This App stores all your Usernames and password in your Android phone in Encrypted form, which can be accessed using only your super master Password.I downloaded this App few days back and after using it,I instantly started to save all my usernames and password, and also I changed Many Passwords without Worries.

I take this App as Must have because,It stores all your private data securely on your cell.So if you don’t Like it,then Just uninstall it.No need to Worry.
Google Maps:

Whether You are in a city,Village or a jungle,Google Maps is handy and really Useful.you can use it for Navigation,Pin point Location sharing,Latitude, and Much more.It brings alive the GPS in your Android. You can plan an Event,Share the Meeting place with all your friends on Google Maps.

File Manager by “Rythm Software” :

The inbult file manager has very less bugs, but this one has none. This will function as an Stand-alone,premeire file manager when you want to access a file, you are not able to find on sdcard. It shows hidden files, system files and other many types of files. It is Swift light Great App.

The Reason I removed Astro from this list and Added File Manager by “Rythm Software” is because of the Search speed ,accuracy and results. When I searched on Astro, ity took a minute or two to search my 8GB sd card, and gave only Files with the matching terms as Result of search, butFile Manager by “Rythm Software”  did it in seconds and Also provided Folders with the Matching terms.

Google Goggles:

Whether you want convert a Spanish language to English or Find a Product,or many more things.Goggles comes to aid,It can use a picture to search web,you can know everything about something just by taking pictures of landmarks, art work, contact info, etc. As Goggles warn you,it won’t work with animals, furniture, apparel, etc.Guyz go and have fun,the App is Amazing. With this you can compare your android with an Iphone.

Advanced Task Killer:

There are Many more Task manager Apps flowing on market, but I found this one quite interesting and Useful. It has everything a User wants a task manager to do.you can select which Apps should run on start up,you can kill a useless app running in background invisible to Android Task manager, and more.Go and Explore it guys.

Think Free Office/Google Docs:

Both Above Mentioned Apps mainly work with office docs like ppt, doc, etc. But both have Positive and negative sides. If you have Think Free Office,You dont need to install Adobe reader as Thinkfree is smarter than Adobe, but using Think Free you cannot save files on Think Free Account. This is Where Google Docs comes to rescue, but google docs does not supports pdf.I suggest you to download both. One is a great viewer, the other one’s editor.

Handcent sms:

Android has an inbuit limit of 20 numbers per group message. But if you have a large active friend circle you wish to contact instanly,Handcent sms is the one you would like to install.

Google+:

This is the latest one to be added in your android and is a must.It not only does socialize you,but also makes a back up of all your images.I am sure you might surely would have heard instant upload and its magic. Some say its a step ahead from android to tackle Iphone’s cloud.

Fast Reboot:

This app allows you to do a bit magic. It restarts your android.,without restarting it.You might have heard people saying restart your cell daily if your cell slowsdown responding. But not all of us restart our android daily, and this is where this app comes in handy. It makes your memory free by restarting almost all apps that are running on your android, whether in background.

There are many Games like Angry birds, bubble burst, etc but they wont enhance the functionality of android. They do Increase the Entertaining Factor of Android.

Easy Installer:

Easy intaller is an app that Allows you to Easily and Quickly install apps From the APK files/Packages you have on your SD card. This decreases your load of searching for each and Every apk you have and wish to install. It will list all the apk files on the SD card, and you can select apps that want to install, and click “Install Selected Apps” button to install them. You can type the keyword in the textbox in the top to search the apps that you want to install.

(apks are Installer files for your android phone, which installs the application on your android phone )

This will surely make you install many more apps on your android then you currently have.

Flashlight:

I never suggested you about any app regarding Flashlight of your Android, Even when I said that this post contains Apps to increase productivity of your Android and make it more Efficient. I never suggested because there was never an app that supported alomost all the versions of Android and All the Handset maker.but Flashlight is different.

Flashlight allows you to use your Camera Flash to be used a Continous source of light (in simple words, you get a torch), and also as a SOS Generator. You can modify the Frequency of Flashing on and Off from the Screen itself where very handy strobes are Provided. If you wish to Use it as a torch with continous Light, Decrease the Strobe to ‘ 0′ .

Update 1: Fast Reboot added/ update 2: saavn added ( on Aug 19 2011) /update 3: saavn,vplayer removed, Juice Defender Added(on Sept 9 2011)/ update 3:Astro removed, Easy Installer,Flashlight added (on January 23 2012 )

If You have Anything to say, feel free.

Google Maps is the one I use all the time. Task Killer also. But without Google Maps I would be lost so many times since I travel a lot.

My favorite top apps for android are:
    SoundHound
    Dropbox
    GMail
Of course phone is nothing without your mentioned Advanced Task Killer and Flashlight but these are already built in in HTC but for Samsung and other you have to download on your own
