WordPress Keyboard Shortcuts That You Should Know

   Keyboard shortcuts are very familiar to us and those are our favorites. We had posted about some Keyboard Shortcuts for Web browsers before. These keyboard shortcuts are providing easier use of PC and various programmes. This post is for WordPress bloggers. Here you can get keyboard shortcuts for WordPress visual editor and others like Comment moderation. These keyboard shortcuts will make your WordPress blog management easier than usual. For using these shortcuts, you should switch it on in settings.

In WordPress Visual Editor

Ctrl + b: To Bold Text

Ctrl + i: Italic Text

Alt + Shift + a: To Insert Link

Alt + Shift + q: To Insert Black quotes

Alt + Shift + a: Read More

Alt + Shift + u: Unordered List

Alt + Shift + o: Ordered List

Alt + Shift + l: List Item

Alt + Shift + v: Change to Advanced Editor

Ctrl + Post : Save Post As Draft

Alt + Shift + p: To Publish The Post

Alt + Shift + d: Strikethrough

Alt + Shift + w: Unquote / Outdent

Alt + Shift + u: Undo Activity

Alt + Shift + y: Redo Activity

Alt + Shift + e: Edit HTML

Alt + Shift + f: Align Text to Left

Alt + Shift + c: Align Text to Centre

Ctrl + [Number]: To Set Various Header Sizes

 

In Comment Moderation

 

k – To move the selection (light blue background) up

j – To move the selection (light blue background) up

a – To approve the currently selected comment

s – To mark the current comment as spam

d – To delete the current comment

u – To un-approve the currently selected comment

r – To initiates an in-line reply to the currently selected comment

Esc. – To cancel the current reply

q – To Edit the currently selected comment

x –  To select the current comment, used with bulk moderation

Shift + x – To Reverses the selection

Shift + a:  To approve the checked comments

Shift + s:  To mark the checked comments as spam

Shift + d:  To delete the checked comments

Shift + u:  To unapprove the checked comments

Shift + t:  To move the checked comments to the Trash

Shift + z: To Restore the checked comments from the Trash
