 About Two weeks before, we had published an article about Sending Files Quickly and Easily from Windows PC to Microsoft SkyDrive. Today we have another tip for you. Here you can know how to save your Gmail Attachments Directly to Google Drive. Hope you all are now familiar with Google Drive, which is a Free and Premium Cloud Based File Storage Service. Google drive is offering 5 GB of free file storage space and users may upgrade it too. A 5 GB space is enough for your Web based documents and other stuff too. If you are leading with a small sized Hard Disc among with a Google Account, Google Drive can be your safest and reliable Storage Space for Files.

  But it is sometimes hard to download files from one source and upload them to another one especially if you are with a slow internet connection. But as usual, geek mind has found a solution for that problem; an easy way to Save your Gmail Attachments Directly To Google Drive without playing a download-upload game again. This is done through a simple Google Chrome Extension (So only works In Google’s own Browser.) What you need for doing this job is just a simple and silly weight Google Chrome Extension that can be Downloaded from Here.

Step One

Download and Install Google Chrome Extension ‘Gmail Attachments To Drive’

Step Two

Go to Gmail and open the Email with attachment(s). An extra link like shown in below will appear near to download link.

Step Three

Press ‘Save To Drive’ link and a message shown below will appear in a new tab. You may go to Google Drive (Here it is Google Docs but you will be redirected to Google Drive)

Go To Google Drive. Your saved attachment(s) will be listed in your Google Drive Folder
