Nokia Launched Nokia 110 And 112 ; Aiming Urban Youth Consumers

  A mobile manufacturer should be aware about their consumer’s different types of financial backgrounds for providing affordable devices for each kind of consumers. And Nokia, as being a mobile giant, is aware about this fact and that’s why they are introducing different kinds of mobile devices frequently. Today’s tech world has another contribution from Nokia. Nokia has introduced their two new s40 based dual SIM mobile devices, Nokia 110 and 112 which are aimed at ‘young urban consumers’ who are not able to buy high priced smartphones. Of course these devices will allow urban young consumers to experience a better and high speed online experience through these devices.  

Nokia 110

  Devices unveiled today, are rich with social media enhancement and medium mobile device features.  Nokia 110 and Nokia 112 are priced $45 and $50 respectively. Both this devices are coming with 1.8 Inch screen, 0.3 Megapixel VGA Camera, 64 MB internal memory and Expandable upto 32 GB, Dual SIM Support with easy swap and Bluetooth. Of course the features are nice to attract urban young consumers at this price but the quality of Camera is low while comparing (But a 0.3 MP camera is not capable of snapping nice photographs in my personal opinion) Nokia is offering high battery backup for Nokia 110 and 112. Nokia 110 offers a talk time of 10.5 hours and you can talk 15 hours on Nokia 112 after charging.

  Nokia 110 is also available in Single SIM Versions. Both 110 and 112 is available in four different colors. As said before, devices come with social media enhancement and faster internet connectivity features to move ahead. Both S40 Devices have Nokia Browser pre-loaded in it. Nokia offers that Nokia browser can compress WebPages as opera mini does such that to decrease data charges by 90%.  Both devices offer direct access of Twitter and Facebook from home screen while the manufacturers have included EBuddy at the time of packing of device. As available for other Nokia devices, you can also get awesome apps for your S40 from the web and make device rich.

Nokia 112

  If you are a mobile gaming geek, Nokia has a nice offer for you. Nokia says that they will bring 40 EA Games including Tetris, Bejeweled and Need for Speed for free in coming months. As per the words of Nokia, those games are worth 75 Euros.  Both devices are expected to start shipping by the quarter of 2012.

McDowell, executive vice president, Mobile Phones, Nokia. “The new Nokia 110 and Nokia 112 devices combine browsing, social media, apps, world-class entertainment and long battery life to create a great package for young, urban consumers who want to do it all.”

  Anyway both of these devices will have a great welcome by urban consumer’s community especially in India. At this price, such devices are very profitable. For youth, s40 devices with social media enhancement and useful apps are very nice to use and experience a awesome internet through device’s connectivity features among with other entertainment features. So we can expect a huge seat for Nokia 112 and 110 in mobile device market especially in Indian Market. As Nokia’s other S40 Devices were harvesting popularity from it’s launch, same story has a chance to repeat in this case too.
