Asus Transformer Prime is the first Quadcore Tablet introduced.It is one of the best selling Tablets in the market.Undoubtedly, so far Asus transformer prime had the best specs in the business but with the announcement of iPad 3 the competetion just got more stiff.ASUS lately released a bootloader-unlocker tool for the Transformer PRime and with this release the Development for this device began to boom.Just recently, even the ClockworkMod Recovery was released and soon after the amazing XDA dev Viperboy released a multi utility all-in-one tool that allows users to Root Transformer Prime , install Busybox,Superuser, ClockworkMod Recovery and unroot the ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 and also the ASUS Transformer TF101 running on both Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich New builds.Now let us have a look at the Detailed tutorial on how to Root Transformer Prime and install ClockworkMod recovery CWM in it

Compatibility :

This works on both Asus Transformer Prime TF201 and Asus Transformer Prime TF101

Pre-Requistes:

1.Make sure that the Tab is atleast 60% charged.

2. Back up all the data

3. Now, enable USB Debugging Mode by going to Settings -> Applications ->Development -> USB Debugging

Procedure :

Step 1:

Now to begin with, We need to use ASUS Transformer Prime Official Tool to unlock the bootloader.To download the Tool go here

Step 2 :

Now , you need to download the viperMOD PRimeTime v4.5.zip for Windows.Basically it is the software to Root Transformer Prime. Download it from the Official Thread here so that you can refer it to get the latest Download links.

Step 3:

Now, after having downloaded the above .zip file, Extract it.!!

Step 4:

Now inside the folder (which you extracted from the .zip file) there will be drivers folder.Install those drivers.

Step 5:

Another most important thing is Ensure that you stop ASUS sync and Splashtop Processes before progressing.

Step 6:

Now connect Transformer prime to the PC via USB cable

Step 7:

Now you need to open the application viperMOD PrimeTime.exe and now you need to select the option.You can First select to Root then install Busybox and then install ClockworkMod Recovery.

Step 8:

Now After you finish with this, you have almost completed the process to Root Transformer Prime. Now download and install OTA Root Keeper from MArket. Here is the Market Link

Congratulations you have successfully completed the process to Root Transformer Prime and also installed ClockworkMod Recovery ( CWM ).
