HTC One X Official Specs

 

HTC One X  is one of the most anticipated devices launched at MWC afterall it’s the HTC Flagship phone.Today at MWC, HTC unveiled  four phones HTC One X, One XL, One S, and One V.Here, We will discuss the specs of the Flagship model. This HTC One X is also called as HTC Endeavour.

HTC One X Release Date:

HTC officials announced that the phone will be launched in Europe after 60 days from now and that there target is to set into the market by early april 2012.

Size and Weight:

It is having the following dimensions :
134.4 x 69.9 x 9.3mm thin. Its certainly not the thinnest one around though.
And It weighs around 120gm.

 

Operating System:

HTC One X is equipped with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.   

 

User Interface:

HTC phones are known for there famous Sense UI. Thus, HTC One X would introduce the latest version of the Sense UI which will be “Sense 4.0”.
This surely is one of the major selling points.

 

Display:

HTC One X sports a next gen 4.7″ Super LCD2 display having a 720p HD ready display.
It will have a scratch proof advanced Gorilla Glass 2.5D in the front while on the back they have fitted a scratch resistant polycarbonate .

Processor and GPU:

IF you have noticed, all HTC smartphones have used Qualcom chip, but this time around HTC have resorted to different chip vendor.HTC One X is integrated with a 4 plus 1 Quadcore Nvidia Tegra 3 chip which can handle resolutions upto  2048 x 1536. HTC One X is one of the first few phones to get a Quadcore processor .!!

Camera:

The Camera specs of  HTC one X are simply mindblowing.Its the real deal.Though it’s a 8MP camera, there are lot of useful features added in it.It has dedicated Image Chip for Clearer and Sharper image captures.It has 28mm Wide Angle lens with a “Smart Flash” LED with 5 auto adjustable power levels.It even has f2.0 aperture and a BSI sensor to improve light gathering in Low Light conditions.Its been provided with with a 1.3MP front facing camera .Another interesting feature in HTC One X is the Dual Shutter Camera Module-It’s a unique feature ,first time introduced, it allows us to capture steady images while you are recording HD videos.It is capable of recording 1080p videos with utmost ease .

 

RAM and Internal storage:

HTC One X is stuffed with a 1GB RAM.
And The onboard storage of  HTC One X is 32Gb out of which 26GB will be available to the user.It has no expandable SD card slot.But users will be provided with 25GB of cloud storage via DropBox for maximum of 2 years.

 

Battery:

HTC One X is packed with a 1800 mAh battery.This seems to be quite a concern but  Tegra 3 can handle resolutions far more than 720 p so there shoudnt be much strain on the battery.

Audio:

HTC One X features the Beats Audio.It even has dual microphones with noise reduction and stereo voice recording.

 

Connectivity:

Lot of Connectivity options are put up in the HTC One X.It has Google wallet compatible NFC, Wireless HDMI,Bluetooth 3.0 ,DLNA for wireless streaming on a DLNA compatible TV or PC,mirco USB 2.0 port with MHL,5 pin POGO connector for audio and charging.

 

Price:

Its expected price seems to be around €600-€700  though HTC hasn’t revealed about it yet.

Thus all in all, the HTC flagship HTC One X  looks a promising prospect with amazing set of specs. This superphone would surely be compared with the likes of  Galaxy S3 and the Iphone 5.
