Deactivate Facebook Account

Today, I wrote this post specially for those people who are either Fed up of Facebook and want to leave it temporarily  or Who wish to leave Facebook without deleting all their precious content.let’s see what Deactivating Facebook account means.

Deactivate Facebook account : Deactivating Facebook account means, that you are not deleting your Facebook account and it’s content, but you are killing your account until the time you wish to, and if you wish to return to Facebook, just blow life in it in minutes.

Before Deactivating facebook account, you will need:

Step 1: 

Click on the small downward pointing arrow on top right corner of your screen.

Step2 :

click on Account settings in the drop down menu

Step 3:

Now, you are in your account settings control panel. As we are deactivating our Facebook Account, we won’t consider downloading our facebook data. But, if you still wish to download your facebook data, then  Transfer your online life from Facebook to google plus, Download all precious photos from Facebook with a single click.

Now click on security in column placed on left side of your screen.

Step 4:

click on ” Deactivate Facebook Account ” button in the bottom of the screen.

Step 5:

Select your reason for deactivating your facebook account, if you are a sole admin of any group, then please assign someone else as admin or select Change all groups to closed.

Now, click confirm button in the bottom. Facebook will ask your password before Deactivating your account and then captcha will appear. Confirm both the dialog boxes and it’s done. You must see a screen like below, conforming that you have a deactivate facebook account.
