As the technology in smart phones advances, it is allowing us to do just about anything using our phone. There are thousands of apps that are available on the Android market that help make your everyday life easier. The cameras in every smart phone that is released now take extremely high quality pictures. It is now possible to use apps found on the Android market to print the pictures found on your smart phone. All that is needed is an Android smart phone and a WiFi enabled printer. There are several printing apps available for Android, but here are the 6 best.
1. Canon Easy PhotoPrint
If you have a Canon wireless printer, then this is the app for you. It is available as a free download on the Android market. Once you open the Canon Easy PhotoPrint app, it searches for any compatible printers in the area. The app gives you the ability to easily select the pictures to print, and will allow for up to 39 pictures to be printed at one time. Once you have chosen the pictures, the Canon Easy PhotoPrint app also allows you to choose the number of copies of each picture. This eliminates the need to constantly print the same picture if multiple prints are needed.
2. HP ePrint Photo
The HP ePrint Photo app allows for anyone with a wireless HP printer to be able to print photos from their Android smart phone for free. The app not only lets you print your photos, but it also lets you crop and edit the photos on your phone before they are printed. The easy setup will allow you to start printing your photos within minutes of downloading the app. There are over 200 different printers supported, so there should be no problem with compatibility issues.
3. Brother iPrint and Scan
Just like the two previous apps, the Brother iPrint and Scan will print photos on any wireless printer of the same brand. The Brother iPrint and Scan app will search for any Brother printers within the area. Once it finds your printer, you can start printing your photos. This is another printing app that is available for free on the Android and is great for any Brother wireless printer owner. Unlike the HP iPrint Photo the setup does take some time, but once it is setup printing is quick and easy.
4. CyPria
You would not know it from the name, but the CyPria app is design to print photos on any Epson wireless printer. There are a free version and a paid version of the app that costs $5. The free version still allows you to print anything, and the paid version only offers some slight enhancement in features that are not worth paying for. The CyPria app is also one of the only apps that allows you to print CD labels and on index cards. While everyone will not use this feature, it is still great to have for the few that will.
5. Picwing Print and Mail Photos
The Picwing Print and Mail Photos app is probably the most innovative of the printing apps for Android smart phones, and it actually requires no printing on your part. If you have photos on your phone that you want to be sent to others, this can be easily done with the Picwing Print and Mail Photos app. After you select the photos that you wish to send and who to send them to, Picwing will print your photos and mail them to the chosen recipients. A monthly subscription is available for $4.99 a month, or you can use the pay as you go feature. This is a great feature to be able to use while on vacation, and you want your friends and family to quickly get your photos.
6. Roboprint
The Roboprint app is a great app to use if you do not have supported printer from one of the previous apps, or if you like to print on multiple printers. The Roboprint app allows you to be able to print on any wireless printer that you choose. The ability to print on any printer from anywhere is a great feature, but does cost $3.99 to download.
