Today was looking for a font for a new web design I’ve been working on and was pretty much confused, from where to download the fonts?

Should I go for Premium Fonts? or search for more websites?

After many hours of search I finally downloaded the font from DAfonts and thought of sharing ‘The top 10 website to download Free Premium-Like Fonts.’

How to install Fonts:-

Its Quite easy to install Fonts

a) Windows XP – put font into C:/windows/fonts directory;
b) Windows Vista – right-click on the font files, then click “Install”;

c)Windows 7:-In windows 7 all you need to do is just download the font and click install in the top left bas of the Editor that is opened when you click on the downloaded font

c) Mac OS X – double-click the font file, then click  “Install font” button.

1. Dafont.com-Free Fonts

Dafont has the biggest collection of free font and has been updated constantly. This is my personal favorite one – 8,276 fonts for now.

I like this one, because of categories split in detail and type your text preview feature – allowing You to use it like font viewer browsing over pages, while choosing the best solution.

2.Urbanfonts.com-Free Fonts

Also huge selection of different typefaces. There is over 8,000 free font out there!

 

3. 1001freefonts.com-Free Fonts

And one more page worth checking out, they don’t say exactly how much font there are, but I am pretty sure that more than 1001

4. Abstractfonts.com-Free Fonts

Nice page with 13,337 free font available for now.

5. Fonts500.com-Free Fonts

Top 500 selection of all time best font, pretty nice collection available there.

6. Searchfreefonts.com-Free Fonts

This collection contains over 13,000 free font and over 45,000 commercial fonts.

7. Fawnt.com-Free Fonts

Really great quality 9,348 font with large previews, character maps and customizable preview.

8. FFonts.net-Free Font.

Has a huge a collection of Font with some quite pretty unique one there!

 

9. FontCubes.com-Free Font

Image is pretty self explaining.

10. FontSpace.com-Free Font

All 15,437 free typefaces have been hand-categorized into 3000+ categories for all Your designing needs!

 

Conclusion:-Though all have many of the Free Fonts pretty Unique but personally i download a lot of fonts from DAFonts and 1001 Fonts :-0
