google+ and gmail

A recent IT marketing research article published shows twice the number of Gmail users in India than that in the US. In India Gmail is regarded as the number one webmail provider and as number two in US.

google+ gmail Indians love Gmail and google+

Gmail users in India have increased with 62% penetration rate which is the highest in the world. This is far more than what is in Brazil and US.

Strong tussle can be seen between Facebook and Google who are trying to grab the maximum market share. Latest from Google was beta launch of social network initiative Google+. Already India has the big share with number of Google+ users reaching 2.8 million and a world reach of more then 20+ million. Recently published marketing research report show the increasing user base in India not only in webmail but social networking platform.

However, Facebook still is the main player in social networking platform with dominance of Orkut is falling sharply. Success of Google+ indeed has shaken the IT industry with storm and many other IT giants are eyeing the pie in social networking users.

Number of Google+ Users –

USA – 5.3 million
India – 2.8 million

World-20million+

conclusion:-Though gmail is the prime email service provider in india but yahoo is also not far behind and the way google+ has started it seems that the day is not far when facebook would also become like orkut..though not so easily as orkut…

  • Backing it Up

As we become more digital our memories become digital too. All our images, files and music are saved on our PC and in most cases on our PC only. Users who are tech oriented may have back their files up to an external hard drive which is good but it doesn't have the benefits of an online backup service. Any user can take advantage of such a service assuring the that their sensitive information is never lost.
